lcr5da71, if your debt is unsecured, you have no job, you have no assets, there is not alot that can be done to you, just harassing collection calls and if you don't pay for services, you will lose your ability to use them. Otherwise, if you do not pay your cell phone, they will eventually shut off your service. Your first priority is to take care of yourself and your daughter.
The only thing that I see happening with your situation is you have developed some bad credit. If eventually you come onto better times and are allowed to work and can afford to, you could try to clean up your credit.
Are you not eligible for some form of state assistance to help you with medical bills. In the state I live in if you have no income and you rack up medical bills, you can go to the state and apply for state assisted medical insurance and they will go back at least three months and cover most of your medical bills. We also have a program locally that if you do not qualify for state insurance there are some grants through the hospitals to pay your bills, if you have no income. You should at least speak to the financial person at the hospital and see what is available; if it is a hospital bill.
