How do i handle the pdl compnaies

Welcome Ilene. In your state of PA an internet payday loan is legal as long as they are licensed in any state. Then you must follow the laws of the sate. For example...if you have a loan out that is licensed in Tx.then it would be legal and you would have to follow the Tx. laws. So...the first thing you will have to do is look up each lender, see what address they use as a home base and then check to see if they are licensed in that state.

Since you have already closed your account as soon as they try to debit and are refused they will be contacting you. When you closed your account did you make sure the bank will not let it be reopenned when the debits come through?? You have the legal right to revoke any and all ACH debits coming out of your account. Your bank should know this. I will post the laws for you to bring to your bank. I believe I already gave you yjos info on another thread, but i will post it again for you.In the mean time your bank needs to put a hard block on your account so nothing can come out. I will look for the other post for you.

Ilene, a stop pay WILL NOT do any good at all. These places use a lot of different names, usually if one is stopped they put it thru under a different name or a different amount. Yiou need to either close the account so that nothing reopens it, or put a hard block on the account. a stop payment will only make mayyers worse, as you will get hit with tons of fees, once they start putting thru debits under other names and amounts.

Ilene dont worry about asking questions. Many of us have had to ask questions, lots of them to get the help we need or to understand the process. We are all here for you. Now that your account is closed you need to send the letters to the pdls telling them you revoke ach debits and that you only want to be contacted via mail or email. Also need to send a letter revoking any wage assignments. Someone here should be along to post samples of those letters for you. Hang in there!

I bank with National City, and the hard block I put on my account before I closed it prevented it from being opened back up.

I can send you a letter that a lot of us have used. Just doctor it up to fit your needs.
PDLs do not garnish wages. You may have signed a wage assignment which is voluntary. All you need to send them is
I (name) hereby revoke any and all wage assignments I may or may not have signed for you and any of your affiliates. I will Pm you the other letter now. Let me know if you got it.

dont worry about the questions. We all asked them, that is how we learn. If it does go thru try to dispute it with the bank. If a hard block was put on the account, you should be ok.

She said that she would accept that, but that it had to be debited out of my bank account.she said that they do not accept any other kind of payments, what to i

Do not give them your bank info. They will rob you. If you really want to pay the 22 bucks then send it via money order usps. They just want a way to get to your bank account again. I think I would not even send the 22 they are such a pain in the butt.

I don't think DRCash is licensed, I thought they were one of the other companies aliases.

I may be wrong though. I have a loan with them too and just sent them an email telling them not to debit my account, I will make arrangements, blah blah blah LOL Lets see what they say.

My closed back account was reopened and, nothing was debitied because i now have a positive balance. Not sure what is going on. I will call the bank. They gave me the cash that was in there, not the same amount is in there once again. Any idea what is going on

Maybe just a glitch int he computer system? Did you check the balance online or actually talk to a person?
