Here is my story (some of which I have posted before so sorry for repeating)

I signed up for Credit Solutions. They were not able to settle 3 out of my 4 debts. When I asked for a refund, they sent me a new fee that is completley unacceptable to me. They want to charge me over $1,000 more than what I should. When I called I just got the runaround. So, I filed a complaint with the BBB.

Here is my question: Should I also file a complaint with the Attorney General? Should I wait and see what happens with the BBB? Any other ideas to expose this company for what they are?

I am not taking this lightly because this company needs to be exposed for what they are. They prey on people who are in a state of despair.

Thanks

I would ignore them and get back to dealing with the other creditors. It's better for an individual to handle their own debt problems. Provide for your basic needs first on a very strict budget, get a partime job and sell stuff. What ever money you have for the debts, offer to the creditors % to proportion. If possible, borrow from your bank and try to settle.

I would not just ignore it, you definately need to report this to the States Attorney Generals office, I think they will be more effective than the better business, I am not real sure that the attorney generals office will be very interested in hearing about this situation.

Do not ignore this. I t will come back to haunt you later.
