Should I answer the creditor questionaire or go to court

The creditor has a judgement agaist me. If I wanted to avoid going to court I can answer all their questions that they sent me. I'm hesitent to answer them since it's a lot of personal stuff. Like bank info. and so on.


If they already have a judgment against you why would you have to go to court? If they do in fact already have a judgment, they went to court already and either you were there and know what went on or you didn't show and they were awarded a default judgment. Are you sure they have a judgment?

If you were sent something that looks like an official summons you can call the Clerk Of The Courts and find out if it's real or BS.

I would not under any circumstances answer their questions. If they do not already have a judgment make sure you go to court, you can probably work out a payment plan and hold off the judgment. If they already have a judgment I think they are trying to gather enough information to garnish your wages.
