I just had to post this. I think it's pretty funny considering I defaulted on the last loan I had with them. I was a good customer though and overpaid them by over $1,400 so, I guess this is my reward.

The strategies these companies will use to keep you borrowing are really amazing. The last line is the funniest because if you keep borrowing, we all know you will not enjoy your life.

Thank you for sharing this message from this, although we may find humor in it, imagine how many people have fallen for this ploy to get old customers back default or not. It shows there desperation to stay competitive in this industry. Actually, something like this says to me, okay now that I have robbed people of their money and harrassed the crap out of them, and my customer pool is falling because people are wising up about the industry, they need to try to be more customer friendly, they obviously are not as in demand anymore, they don't offer these incentives out of the goodness of their hearts, they obviously are feeling the crunch of people educating themselves and refusing to fall for the hungry wolves.

thanks for posting this, I think a lot of people will learn from this as the discussion grows.

I agree with jos on this one, they may have to resort to more customer friendly tactics now that consumers are becoming smarter and smarter about the payday loan industry.

It is because of forums like this that the word is getting out, sooner or later maybe the industry will have to offer a low intrest loan to clients, wouldn't that be something.

People are not flocking to their doors now, people are getting educated, learning through experience and about reading about other peoples bad experience and not going to these predators to get money.

Awesome post, thank you!

Winner of the week, LOL, of a brand new high intrest pay day loan, with lots of high payments and repaying back most of your paycheck for a very long time.

They are a trip, they will offer anything to try and get people back into their greedy little trap. You all are too smart to fall for there garbage. But isn't it nice of them to extend the offer, LOL. They must be desperate for business if they are actually sending out this kind of advertising.

Ladies thanks so much for your support. Many of you don't know my story but, I will tell it here. I'll try to be as brief as I can. I racked up alot of credit card debt trying to help my family. Mom and I used to keep things current but, then she passed away four years ago. Since she had no insurance dad took a loan for funeral expenses. About two years later, he got sick and needed surgery. Dad had his surgery. Between Medicare and I, the bill was paid. Just when we thought things would be ok, the sewer started backing up in the house and calling a plumber each time (more than ten times) proved very expensive and help from the local waste management agency was non-existent. I tried to get a loan to cover the expenses and could not. I found out about payday loans through the internet and thought those could solve my problems. It's been a nightmare. I couldn't keep up with my other bills because of the exhorbitant payday loan fees. I would pay off one then have to take another to pay a couple more bills and the cycle continued.

Last December (2007), I think I hit rock bottom when I couldn't even afford $20 for my medication. I prayed to God to deliver me from this aweful situation. One night late, after praying. A thought about debt consolidation for payday loans just popped into my head. I started searching and found this site. It has helped me so much.

I have been able to stop all the collection calls. I can answer my phone again without fear of some nasty collector threatening me and telling me I need to pay my bill or else. I contacted the credit card companies and I'm doing payment plans. The payday loan companies were not so cooperative.

I filed with the BBB, The FTC and the FBI Internet Crime Division because these payday loans Oneclickcash, E-Payday Loan, and The Loan Shop all started debiting my checking account several times a week after they received the letters revoking debit authorization. 500Fastcash would only debit on a payday and USFastcash sent through a demand draft check. I did alert my bank prior to sending the letters and the bank tried to block the debits. What the bank official told me is that everytime they block the reference number, the company puts through debits with another number so, the best thing to do is to close the account which I did.

I've had several loans with all of these companies (some starting from 2005)and have overpaid them alot of money. I'm in the VI and payday loans are illegal here. The small loan rate applies for any loan under $7,500 and fees cannot exceed 26%. I never knew this information until I looked it up after finding this site.

I toyed with the idea of keeping MyCashNow as a resource in case of anything. When I added up what I paid them over the two years, I borrowed $2,700 in all and paid $4,860.75. My last loan with them for $300 got defaulted because the others were illegally debiting my account. I contacted Mycashnow and told them of the situation and asked for an address to mail payments. They would not give me one and insisted on Western Union which I cannot afford. They also continued to try to debit my account. They now claim I owe them $629. That was the reality check I needed to break with them too.

Adding up what I paid for all these payday loans was really depressing because if I had all that money I would be much better off today. I will never take out another payday loan, ever!

What was that old joke that comedians used to tell: First prize, a week in Cleveland, second prize, two weeks in Cleveland?? (or something like that), but Cleveland IS a beautiful city...
We could say in this case first prize a loan at 3 million percent interest rate, second prize, the same loan, but with Louie the Lip on your doorstep telling you to pay up or else??

Thanks guest! My success story is still a work in progress. I'm still dealing with the payday loan companies, but thanks to God and this site I know I will be successful. Less than 6 weeks ago, I felt like I was drowning with no way up. Finding this site helped me to breathe again. Today, I went to a movie and a free gospel concert. I am enjoying life again.

Jos,thanks for the support and words of inspiration. I will feel free to vent when I need to. There are great people here who care. I know you are sincere.

I did feel like a weight had been lifted. Last payday was the first in two years that was not partially or completely taken over with payday loans. :D It feels good to be able to meet my other obligations again and have enough left over to enjoy a $5 movie for a change. I also sleep good now. For over a year and a half, I rarely slept and I worried all the time. I forgot what it was like to live without alot of stress. :D
