I enjoy this board and it is very helpful and informative but,I have noticed quiet a bit that if a person STATES their opinion and it ruffles feathers of the ones in charge or contradicts theirs it gets deleted due to the facts they some look silly in what they post,it is like if they opinionated and then it is shown they are wrong instead of admitting it they have the threads deleted.

I don't think I've seen anything deleted but then I don't spend as much time here as I used to. Well I take that back, the only think I have seen deleted was something that might violate the rules of the forum.

I actually almost enjoy it when people disagree with me as long as they do it in a mature and logical fashion and not stalk me afterwards.

Where would we be without debate?!

There will always be debates. I'm not on here much either and don't contribute alot. But I like to see others opinions as long as they don't have any personal attacks. Unforturnely some of the debates do end up with someone posting a very inappropriate question directed at someone and that is where the thread usually ends.

If someone is deleting your posts just beacuse you state your opinion you need to contact Mike. If you aren't breaking any of the TOS rules, and aren't being attacking, rude, etc., and just stating your opinion, you should not be deleted.

I don't delete unless someone is personally attacking, being rude, nasty or spamming, or breaking the TOS.

Did this happen recently? I have been on and off, been quiet busy with my mom--but may have missed it..karen

I'd like to know more about this. Deleting a post simply because we don't agree with it is against the rules. I would never do that...Unless it is a very ugly and hurtful post.
I'm with Karen..If this is something you've seen, feel free to report it to Mike. Or, if it makes you more comfortable, feel free to pm any one of us mods. We can work to get it taken care of in a quiet, productive manner.

I like a nice debate when I used to express my opinion one person in paticullar use to delete it and I never appreciated it. I was not bashing anyone just having a nice debate. So, to avoid drama like I was told I was doing I just say what I have to say and be done with it. I'm not on here to bash anyone but I know that we ALL cant agree on EVERYTHING. I do appreciate everyone's opinion thats what makes this site special.....

I also agree with many above posts .. and hope deleting when disagreeing is not happening often..I recently was very upset about a post lady made..I thought it was directed at me...and after her p.m... I realized I was wrong..we are now friends and I feel very lucky to be her friend and fan!

but I also know that if Kash states something has happened here ..that it has INDEED happened..and am glad she had the integrity to state the truth!!!!

SAME HERE I WATCH POSTS ALL THE TIME AND BELIEVE ME
IT TAKES A PERSONAL ATTACK OR AS FROG SAID WHEN WE GET OFF TRACK ON A POST. NEVER HAVE I SEEN A GUEST
OR POST DELETED FOR THAT PETTY REASON.

frog since I have been here I have never seen any foul language thank goodness....maybe the criteria has changed... I have seen posts that people can't even post certain words here such as panti-s and have to say "undies" instead etc....I am glad that site has now answered the foul mouth problem where even minor discrepancies are forbidden!
