ok. so. payday loan out with store front "ace cash express" in missouri. original amount was $350. i made arrangements with other payday loans in area to pay $20 p/wk until loans are satisfied. i have made one payment to "ace" of $20. now ater receiving a call from their corporate office, they said that since the original loan is about 2 1/2 months old, that i would have to pay the full amount or they would send the check to county prosecuting attorney. my question is, since they have already accepted one small payment, would this bind them to continue accepting these payments, forward this to the county prosecuting attorney. by the way, one of the payday loans has already done this, and i went ot the county prosecters office where they set up a payment arrangement with me to repay that loan. i did not close my checking account, but the bank did, since i was overdrawn. thanks anybody who might answer above question

Thats what I was gonna ask Volley. If the agreement was in writing then you could bring this to the county and they would have to honor it. But if it was just a verbal agreement they can pretty much do what they want per the contract you signed. Have you talked to the storefront/person that you made the agreement with and ask what happened? Maybe you could do that and they can contact the corp. office and tell them about the agreement.

oh. i forgot. they told me that if i paid off the loan, mthen i could take out that same amount the same day. for some reason i don't trust them. though this seems like my only option?
