Kentucky internet loan

Are they an internet PDL company? They can't intercept your tax refund. You need to let them know that internet PDLs are illegal and uncollectable in the state of KY. Ask them to stop calling you and send them a C&D letter. How much have you paid towards the loan so far?

They are an internet pdl company...They just called me again at work, to make sure I understand their terms, which are wage garnishment, or interception of my tax refund. I have paid $150.00, still owe $690.00, but if they don't quit calling me at work every hour, I'm going to get fired, and I won't be able to pay them anything!

You need to send them a CERTIFIED letter revoking wage garnishment, ach debits, and all contact. If you have to, tell your employer that some fraud charges showed up on your bank account and that the company calling is trying to scam you. Most people will be understanding. They cannot collect on the PDL because they gave you the funds under illegal terms. Get the letter to them, and give a copy of it to your payroll dept.

CDollar is right. Also file a complaint with the FTC, BBB and Kentucky attorney general. These people are so stupid, they harrass you at work and if you lose your job you cant pay them anything, like you said above. Please file the complaints as soon as possible.

They can not intercept your income tax refund they are just trying to scare you...those people don't know anything..they can't take your income tax refund for a pdl loan... :twisted: do as everyone has suggested file complaints especially to your state's ag's office

I guess threatening to take your tax refund is going to be the "threat du jour" for the next month or so.

That's exactly what I was thinking, volley. I guess in June they'll be telling people that they are going to intercept that proposed refund. Jerks...

Ok, I asked them for an address to send them a C&D letter, and they told me I could not mail them anything, they want my information by phone, or they will go ahead with legal proceedings...Any suggestions?

If they won't give you a physical address, do you have an email address for them? At least then you would have SOME documentation that you sent them a cease and desist letter, although if they aren't legally able to loan to KY residents, I highly doubt it will stop them from calling you, unfortunately. Maybe you need to talk to your employer and explain to them that you are receiving unauthorized phone calls??? I would hate to see this affect your job.
