Are you a Florida resident and is your house "home steaded"? As far as I know in Florida there is no way for them to take your home unless of course the bank/mortgage company takes it due to foreclosure.

Yes, I just looked and they have an unsatisfactory rating because they don't resolve complaints according to the BBB. Sounds shady as well. I'm sure you've heard this before but you should ALWAYS check with the BBB before deciding to do biz with anyone.

my wife just signed on with campos chartered law firm and they are promising the sky! virtually gauranteen to settle all 6 credit card co. debts for less than 1/2 of what is owed. i've been in the collection biz for years and that is rarely accepted by creditors much less 6 of then all at one time. the guy we talked to is from new york , affiliated with some other company (americorp) and is a true fast talking big city slicker by my first impression. my e mail to anyone with more info on his comapny which is out of pompano beach florida and syosset,n.y. is:

Ok..putting in my '2 cents' again. ( Saying this from personal experience) if you have a 'bad gut feeling' about any company you are using or want to use, stick with your feeling. Especially if you can't find answers to your questions, etc. There are alot of scam companies out there. They may LOOK ok, but, we just don't know which ones they are.
