Who is Chieftan and NLS cash advance? I need them to stop debiting my bank account. Does anyone have a phone number or contact info?
Thanks,
Tom

I am asuming these are Payday loan companies, I did a search on this site and came up with several different names. Do you have payday loans with these companies? Internet or Store front (though they appear to be internet based, not sure though). What state do you reside in and how much did you borrow and pay back. If you can provide us with more info I am sure someone can help you. :)

I'm really not familiar with these companies, but I did do a search on this site and came up with SOME information. You might want to try that yourself while you are waiting for assistance, just put the names of these companies into the search box in the upper right hand corner of this forum, maybe you will be able to obtain the information you are seeking. How much did you actually pay back on these loans? I hate to tell you this, but most likely you are going to have to close out your account in order to stop them from debiting your account, but first you need to read the sticky at the top of this forum regarding closing accounts, and wait until someone with more knowledge and experience comes by and to advise you. I will post the laws of Illinois shortly, and someone who may be familiar with these companies will be along to help you shortly, just hang in there, you can get some good advice here.

How do these companies get your new account numbers? I closed an account and opened another one to prevent fradulent debits, but before I could let the PDLs that I owed know of the change, they already had my new account number!!!!! What's up with that? I had to change banks! Is it possible for them to find out the new bank account number?
