Did you know that in Costa Rica there is no incarceration for debts? Also, ALL debts prescribe after 2 year, meaning that if you don????????t pay a single penny for 2 year, it would still show in their books but the debtor have no obligation to pay. I know because I lived there. So if they threat people to sue them from Costa Rica, well??????? here is the deal I won????????t pay for 2 years and my debt will prescribe. And since they have no license in the US they can sue me here either.

I meant duplicate post. Yes we know that they can not sue us. the off shore pdls are the worst to deal with however. They will harass you to death. We here do not advocate not paying what we borrow. We want to pay back the principle amount, and that is what most of us do. If you chose not to pay, well, it is your choice.

The main idea is that no matter how nasty they put it, they are WRONG, I don't say not to pay but to prove them wrong. Of course, if a loan is taken well... the honorable thing to do is pay. Lets just not be so naive to let them con us.

Anyway,
I would like to know if somebody have a list of names, for sure nobody wants to make the big mistake of messing with them. It would be really helpful to know which companies not to deal with.

I doubt if anyone here has a list of companies specifically in costa rica. Actually we try not to deal with any pay day loan companies at all anywhere.

Whitemima...its not only the ones in Costa Rica but they are located all over the world including Europe.
