seriously.
lost my job late last year, my heloc was turned down last minute
i had an old medical collections and my credit took a dive
i was going to get small private loan from a relative
the relative suddenly died of heart attack
then i went to a private lender and the guy's wife ended up in the hospital and i havent heard from him in over a week
my remaining uncle who could loan me money got shingles (disease) in his eye and is too depressed/broke to help
the kicker here is that my bank account got really screwed up start of january
(around same day uncle died)
well i ve bene in touch with my nice local branch manager, he just kept saying to put money in there when i can. he didnt tell me i would wind up in jail.
i put 600 in there last week - im still overdrawn 2900
i have received a letter from my bank's loss security manager that he does not care what problems i have or that i put some money in the account
he said he can get me under bank fraud cause checks bounced from closed account and if i dont put all 2900 in there by feb 1 he is going to law enforcement.
and then the motherfer LAUGHED.
I feel beyond in shock and angry
THE only way i know to get the money fast is via payday loans
I am in pennsylvania and started new job last month
it doesnt pay for 2 more weeks
what are the easiest, best payday loan comapnies to use ?
at this point i wish i knew loansharks!
please guys advice please. im so so so scared

I'm sorry but we are a forum dedicated to helping people get out of debt no to incurr more. Payday loans will not help your situation. Trust me it will only make it worse. I wish I could give you some better advice, however the only thing i can do is warn against taking a pay day loan.

I have to agree with my two friends on this. Payday loans will only complicate your situation more. Call the loss prevention department of your bank and work something out with them. I was overdrawn $1400. due to pdls and the bank was able to make payment arrangements with me.I doubt you would end up in jail....they may take you to court but then will make payments arrangements with the judge.
i already contacted him and he said its not his problem he said

he said point blank in his letter he will go to law enforcement.
he doesnt care what I or even my bank manager say
he acts gleeful.

As others have said, PDL's will only make things much worse. They'll be a temporary fix at best, with that amount of money you will not be able to get out from under them.
I also don't think you'd end up in jail, someone trying to defraud the banking system does not make a $600 payment. Of course I would not want to be the crash test dummy and see if I went to jail or not.
I hate to see you do this but if you must I would take out internet PDL's from unlicensed companies, all they can do is harass you for the money. I am by no means advocating he does this with the goal to take their money and not pay anything back, I am only saying if worse came to worse I could deal with the harassment while I payed them back the principle and state authorized interest.
Be aware, they will harass you at work, at home and threaten you constantly.

He can turn this over to the police BUT then they will have to prove that you did this on purpose. (someone correct me if I am wrong) Then like posted above, you will go to court and then you can make the payment arrangements. If you are still unsure, call your local police and see what they do in your area. I know the laws are different everywhere. So let them know what is going on (that you bounced some check and now the bank says if you don't pay in 2 days they are going to turn this over to you, not all the other stuff) and ask right out if you will be arrested. I would also contact your states Department of Financial Institutions and let them know how this bank is treating you. The DFi is the one that issues their license.
But I for one would stay very far away from a payday loan. Plus if your account is already closed and you don't have an open checking account and took one out, then that WOULD be fraud and you will be arrested.

The state DFI's only deal with strictly local banks.

ok....question. They are saying you wrote checks on a closed account? Did you KNOW the account was already closed when you wrote the checks they're talking about? Did the branch manager tell you that the account was already closed and now your making "recovery" payments? If you DID write checks on the account when it was already closed, and you knew it was closed, you might want to call your local legal aid offices. Every community has a free legal aid office that helps people under a certain income amount. Does your new work allow you to take a draw on your paycheck? When you were out of work, were you receiving unemployment? Some states have it so that if your new job is bringing in less than your unemployment check amount, they will continue to pay you the difference, as long as you continue filing. Call your local unemployment office and find out. Also, contact your church and see if they offer any kind of assistance. This is a tough one.....
