Well when i was in high scool and all through it I was very good with my money and my credit. Paying off debt and saving money. I was ok when I went for my first year of college and still payed my bills and had money. My second year of college started out ok but got bad. I got sick and with my sickness I didnt make it to all my classes and making that I did not pass most of my classes. My parents thought it would be best for me to move back home since I was sick. Deep down I knew that was the best thing but I was not happy with it. I wouldnt have any friends there my boyfriend just left for school in Durango so i was already upset. I signed up for classes at metro state, I did ok the first semester not my best and I got a waitressing job it was ok money but I still missed my friends and boyfriend as was on a downward spiral. I would go down to see my boyfriend about once a month, usually making the plans enough in advance that the flight was not too expensive. things were not going very well with my boyfriend and it got worse. I figured that if I could see him that things would work out better for me. I worked and used my money for the plane tickets. I started to get into debt only working to go see him, not to pay my bills. Well needless to say we broke up and spending that much money was a regret. Well I kept working trying to save getting a checking account and slowly paying off bills or collectors. Since I hit a downward spiral my savings and bill paying techniques have not got back to where I would like them. I have been on and off job twice now and not just for a week or so but like two months both times. That really didnt help, so I could not afford to my collectors. I have found a job that is going to work out until I am finished with school and I also met a new someone that I will be spending the rest of my life with. I know good credit is big to him and I really want to start taking a positive role towards our future and my credit. Please let me know if there is anything you can do.
