yesterday I asked a question, but received no response, I wanted to know if you are negotiating for a settlement with a store front that you had a long relationship and had paid a lot of interest too already, does it help? Also my storefronts never offered the epp or post it in the stor even though they are all members of cfsa

Now with the EPP you have to ask for it BEFORE your loan is due. If it is after then they will not offer it to you. Also with the EPP what they do is take the amount you owe and split it up into 4 payments. If you miss a payment, they WILL cash your check, no matter if you have it almost paid off or not.

If you are already in default, then talk to the manager at the store and tell them your situation and ask what can they do. Have a payment plan already figured out before you talk to them, so you can let them know what you plan to pay and when. They do not have to offer a payment plan, they can take you to court or send you off to a CA instead of working with you. So be nice when you talk to them.
