That would only work if the person on the phone was giving you their real name . . . . Which most pdl companies don't. A lot of the collectors use fake names.

Goudah is right. If you call back and ask for Mr. Green you never get him because he does not exist!
I like the ones from BIG.GFSIL that use British names but are Indian.

I loved the link someone posted a while back with the telemarketer calling and getting the ppolice leutenant of a murder investigation asking what his connection was to the victim. It is hysterical. I have to find that and post it again. It would be great to pull on a debt collector.

I knew of a story where someone went to google earth and zoomed in on the building that the collection agency was housed in....got an idea of what the building looked like, etc....

The next time the CA called, the person asked "so, which door do you use when you go in?..The one near the cluster of bushes?" and so forth...scared the CA agent out big time.
