My issue

BIG LTD - 9/13/07 - $200 loan; through 11/30/07 I made 6 payments totalling $405.
Impact Cash - 9/11/07 - $300 loan; through 12/5/07 I made 10 payments totaling $550. Then since i was in the loop i needed to borrow again.
Impact Cash - 12/5/07 - $300. I made no payments.
Cashnet Loans - 9/13/07 - $350 loan; through 12/13/07 I made 9 payments totaling $610 to either cashnetloans or payday loan syes.
I had read a lot of the posts and closed my account. I occasionally hear from Impact and payday loan yes.
My bank account was in Michigan, I reside in virginia, and work in DC. Not sure what all of that matter.
Then i get a collection notice from a payday lender called PayDayMax for $1886. I called the collection company today and asked what it was all about, they just said that i needed to pay it or prove i paid it. Honestly, i don't remember that company, let alone an $1800 loan. i used to reside in Michigan.
Any thoughts or help. Thanks.
I basically just want to get it all settled. and i would rather not hurt my credit by doing it. Thanks again.

Do you have your old bank statements? If so, go back thru them to see if there shows anything. If you don't you should be able to get a copy of them thru your old bank. There might be a small fee associated with them, but something to check into. To be honest, I would not pay anything until you were sure you owed the money. The other thing you can do is write them and as them to validate the debt. DO NOT and I stress this, pay them until you know for sure you actually owe it. Also check out the state laws to make sure they are legal to lend to you.

You have paid them back all you legally owe so do not even talk to them. They are an illegal overseas operation and can do nothing to collect form you legally! Be ready!
