Never heard of'em. But I'm curious why they'd be contacting a creditor wanting a payment history... Sounds almost like they're trying to scrape up validation on something to me. Do you have any payment issues with this particular creditor?
What?
Just did a Google search on them and didn't see anything, at a glance, on them. Good job on the creditor's part, not releasing any information to them and contacting you regarding it.
Try asking your creditor for any contact information that might have been provided to them by PC&A. I'm sure they must have provided at least a fax number to your creditor so they could provide the information they requested? If that's all you have, fax them a letter asking them WTF they want?
That is if you just feel like playing detective. Me, I'd be curious to know who they are and what the heck they want.
Heck, if you can get a fax/phone number, run a reverse lookup on

Yeah I didn't find anything either. The creditor was a mortgage company from the past that I don't owe anything to. The letter they sent me stated that since Phillip Corbin Associates didn't have signed release from me, they wouldn't release the information. I am trying to get a hold of someone to find out who and why is inquiring about my payment history.
