My nephew is his first born child and he didn't even want anything to do with him the first 5 years of his life...I know this isn't a counseling board but any help anyone could give me to get me started would be greatly appreciated. Normally I am very good at finding out dirt on people but am having a hard time with information from Christian County, KY...so any advice would help.

You can also go to the register of deeds and look for the deed information and you can also find the tax cards, etc there. Just go to Kentucky's register of deeds website and you can get information there. It is public records, so should not cost you anything.

ladybug, Oak Grove Kentucky is a very small town in Western Kentucky. Population of only 8,000. It's pretty rural. Lots of farm land, lakes for fishing, etc. I don't know what kind of job he has there, so I couldn't tell you anything about the money aspect. They say it's "affordable" because of the military there (it's close to Fort Campbell). Now, what they mean by "affordable", I'm not sure. But it's very small and very country.
