I am in the state of Alabama I have a total of 8 online 1 for 750 and seven of 300. I have been rolling them over for the past 4 months paying over 1150 per month for just interest. I need some help with them to stop debiting my account and need to set up some type of payment plans with online lenders :?:

I have received a letter from Loan Shop stating that I owe them $390.00. I already sent the the letter twice to them stating that I have paid them $360.00 on a $300 loan. What else can I send them now... I ask PIF or refund of $60.00 but they are wanting additional $390 on top of the $360.00 that I have already paid them...That would $750 on a $300.00 loan. Please advise......

Jenn, Did PDM ever validate your debt? Did they receive your letter? Do you have the green return card? If they received your letter and you have the green card as proof they received your letter, you need to call them on it. They are violating the fdcpa. You sent them a letter requesting validation of the debt, all collection activity is supposed to cease. Keep track of each time they call and the threats. And then call them on it. I pm'd you some other information.

Jenn until they fully validate the debt, they cannot legally take any other action. They can holler till they are blue in the face but it is just wasted air. Please start a log on their violations.Every phone call, letter, email or etc. made after a validation is a collection attempt and a violation. Have they reported to your credit reports yet? Please consult a lawyer at naca.net. With the multiple violations it should be a slam dunk case.

I have a questions. I am attempting to get debt valitation from a collection agency that has muliple depts reported on my credit report. If they fail to respond, would be in violoation and subject to fine for each reported debt or just one?

Has anyone dealt with this company. I am getting threatening calls. Everytime I call I am given a different number to call saying they have been given the account to someone else. The last number i got is suppossedly a collection company called Seaway. My cash now gives me no answers on how to pay the debt just keep sending me to these other companies.
