Cache is very bad news they buy old debts...you need to send them a dv ltr asap to make sure that you do owe this money and the dollar amount that you say is right...make sure you keep in contact with them because they have been known to sue people and unfortunately win so don't ignore it.

First thing to do is to call the courthouse and ask the prothonotary or the clerk of courts if the summons is real or not. Sometimes they will pull a fake summons to try to get you to pay.
If the summons is indeed real, then you have a few choices, you can either hire an attorney or you can do it yourself. Up to you, how much do you know about the law and what needs to be done. There will be a time frame on answering the summons or they will win by default. You will want to ask the prothonotaries office this question when you call. Hope this helps, goodluck hope you get this resolved soon.

You need to respond to the summons within the time-frame noted on the Complaint (the document they served you with). If you do not file a proper "Answer" within the time-frame, they will be granted a default judgement which gives them access to your wages and bank accounts to recoup their judgement. Cach, LLC is notorious for suing on out-of-statute debt, most people don't realize it's past SOL or don't bother to file the "Answer". If you do choose to fight back, there's a good chance they'll back off. Google "How To Answer a credit card debt Lawsuit" and you'll find websites that can provide you with a Word template to follow. Good luck.
