This is what's going on with me...

6 pdls
1. Ambassador/Nationwide Cash
Loan: 250 Paid: 630
Paid towards Principle: 105

2. Authorized Payday
Loan: 450 Paid: 270
None towards princ

3.Cash Supply
Loan: 400 Paid: 360
none towards princ

4. Cash Advance Now
Loan: 250 Paid: 150
None towards prince

5. Landmark Express
Loan: 300 Paid: 90
None towards princ

6. Upfront Payday
Loan: 300 Paid: 0

Notes: All of these loans will come out on my next payday 2/15, and I CANNOT afford that. My bank told me to put stop payment (at $25 per company) on those with the highest interest (those that I'm paying over $100 per pay period to) until I can work out a payment plan. They suggested that $100-125 is better than the $400+ the PDLs would take out. I cannot close my account because my paycheck will be going in there on 2/15 (in 3 days). But I have opened another account for future paychecks to go to, but this one is too late.

I found none of these companies on the state website licensee lists. What are my other options? Any suggestions? I hope I can catch this while I'm still in the early stages.

First do not put stop payments on these things. It is a waste of money. They use so many different names that if you put a stop on one name they will just use another, or change the amount , or even send thru a paper check. the only way is to close your account. Please read the sticky on the pay day forum page to see if closing your account will not give you additional problems. i will post the sate laws for you.

I was speaking with a "Member Service Spec".
This is what I sent her...
"So what are my other options? It was recommended to me to turn my account to "deposit only" or do a hard block. Can you give me any information about this?"

This is what she sent me...
"If the company has not debited your account unauthorized the only thing you can do is a stop payment. I would recommend that you make sure and keep a detailed log of when and how you contact the company in regards to the payment plan you have set up aside from ACH. You may then want to review your contract with the specific companies and make sure that it is not incorporated that they are eligible to collect funds in any prior form (Ex.ACH, DEBIT CARD, or CREDIT CARD).

What now?
