I think the affidavit they are referring to is the one you probably signed when you disputed the charges with your bank.

I was also a victim of on line fraud and contacted by this company
they ask for a police report but it never worksif you send they say they didn't get it but mainly because company that you dispute charges for and have on the police report is never the same name of company they say they are collecting for and amount is unusually higher than what you disputed in first place.. simply ask for debt validation and follow procedures here on site ..they are attempting to collect an illegal gambling debt most likely and they deal with companies who dont verify info and leave identity fraud wide open if it is on line gambling debt it will never show up on your credit report and huge huge lawsuit against them if it does by all means if you havent already report them to the ftc and let all credit card cos know you have disputed this debt and let them know it is an illegal gambling debt they have tried to threaten you with
TELL JMC YOUR HAVE DISPUTED THE CHARGES
Once the charges are disputed and "chargedback" to the merchant/payment processor they are given 60 days to dispute the chargeback and provide documentation verfiying the charges etc. They will not do that. For obvious reasons. Tell Jmc your bank is requesting documentation of the charges as they believe the charges are were fraudulently submitted. That will be the last your hear from JMC. Helping a overseas company collect unlawful charges is a felony. As long as the money is no longer owed to your credit card issuer, the amount is not legally collectible. In my opinion. I am not an attorney so only my opinion. The law however states that a contract for payment is only valid if it is a legal contract. i.e. a
**** can not sue for payment, and also an illegal business can not sue for payment. If you dispute a transaction I would dispute it as don't recogize the charge.
