Hello jschleicher and welcome to the forum. I feel your pain, I've been there and am still digging myself out of a hole. First of all we need more information in order to help you. You have listed several different types of loans. First of all, can you please list the following Payday Loan info:
-Name of PDL
-Internet or Store front
-How much you borrowed
-How much you paid to them
-Have you defaulted on any of these PDL loans?
I am sure someone will be along to advise you shortly, just hang tight, meanwhile, provide us with more info, and someone here will give you some advice on how to deal with these. :) As far as the other loans you have, I'm not that knowledgeable on how to deal with those, but someone here can help you with those too.
Meanwhile, here are the laws for yur state regarding PDL laws(ju

I applaud you for saying no more loans/cash advances. You have taken the first step down the road to debt-free living and that's great.
However, I think that you have several issues going on here besides payday loans. Have you signed up for the free financial counseling that we offer via phone? This might help you discover what your options are and where you can go.

js, ks is right. With so many credit issues, it might be best to call for a free counsel. They can get your information and give you the best direction to go in for your particular situation. If you haven't seen the number already, it is 1-800-601-1579. If you have any questions, please post. We're here to help.
Calling Someone and PDLs
First, I called a number directly off this website and the first thing they said was "We don't do PDLs and neither does anyone else."
My PDLs are all current but will all default on their next cycle. I will go through their info here one by one. The first 4 are store fronts in Moberly, MO.
1. Moberly Quick Cash- (Loan)500, (Current Fee)160.71, 30 days, (Last Action) I have paid it off completely and taken it back out every month for about 3 months.
2. Check into Cash- 500, 85, 30 days, I have paid it off completely and taken it back out every month for at least a year.
3. Advance America- 500, 95, 30 days, I have paid it off completely and taken it back out every month for about a year.
4. Cash Checkers of America- 500, 101.79, 19 days, I have had loans with them in the past, but this one was new on 2/6.
5. paydayone.com- 500, 88, 31, days, I have had a loan with them for about a year, but this one was paid off and taken back out on 2/14. It is the only one that will not default in the next week. It is due on 3/16.
6. cashnetusa.com - 450, 112.50, 30 days, I have paid down 25 on the principle and paid 125 in fees when I renewed the loan last month. I have had a loan with them since October paying it off and getting a new one every 3 months.
7. unitedcashloans.com- 350, 105, 30 days, I have had this actual loan since October and paid 315 in fees and 0 in principle paying fees only every month.
8. tendollarpaydayloan.com- 300, 90, 30 days, I have had this actual loan since December and renewed it once paying fees only of 90.
9. checkcity.com- 400, 60.50, 30 days, I have had this actual loan since september paying a total of 100 in principle and a total of 314.50 in fees. The loan originated at 500 with 85 per month in fees.
10. urgentcashadvance.com- 300, 60, 28 days, This loan was funded for the first time on 1/31. I have never had a loan with them before. Today, when I went to check my info for it, they are still trying to get me to sign the loan agreement online. It seems that they funded the loan off my app info without getting a signed agreement.
That's all the PDLs. Thank you so much to everyone who is trying to help me. If there is a debt consolidation company that will include PDLs, please give me the number. Also, if I have to do it on my own, does anyone have a copy of a successful letter that has been used to start this process with each company. I need to get this going now, everthing defaults starting Friday and continuing over the next month.
Should I close my checking account? I am afraid of being charged with a crime if I close it or even if I leave it open because I will not be able to cover this months AWDs. Thanks again.

Okay, I'm posting the state law again. I know it's already here, but I'm finding it difficult to follow, so bear with me so we can look at all this together.
You will find the Payday loan laws for Missouri here (just select your state),

Do NOT close your bank account or put a stop payment on the checks. Do NOT. As you will see, it's stated that criminal action is prohibited unless check returned due to closed account or stop-payment by maker. You have checks out at storefront pdls. Do not do anything with the bank account or criminal action can be taken against you.

With Advance America you need to go in there BEFORE your due date and ask to go into a extended payment plan (EPP) If you ask for one of these they will stop all interest on the loan and let you repay the loan in 4 payments. You will have to tell them the dates and you will have to stick with the dates, they will not change them and if you miss one payment, they will deposit your check. But when you complete the agreement they will give you your check back. But remember to go in BEFORE you default.

I won't close my account, but won't they just send the checks and ACHs anyway even when I tell them not to and show them a payment plan.
Seriously, I have 10 PDLs and 12 other creditors. I can't pay a monthly payment of 150 for 4 months. I have 300-400 a month I can give these 22 creditors until summer when I will make an extra 4000-5000, then I can put most of that towards paying these bills.
Advice? My idea is write a letter and send it to all 22 creditors. Outline a plan in the letter where I pay off all of the loans first and pay every one of them at least $10 per month and then take the other 200-250 per month and give it to one of them at a time until each is paid in full. Then move to the credit cards and do the same thing with them.
Will this work? It will obviously only work if none of them sue me over the next 3 years and get a wage garnishment. This is my plan and I need to do it today and tomorrow. Let me know if this has a fighting chance or what my other options are.
Again, thanks so much.

j, I saw your post on my home page and was really glad to see it here. Have you though about credit counseling as Kscornell recommended? If you look on the right side of the page there is a phone number and under Our Services is a free consultation. I know this has worked for some people and the payments were affordable. As for the pdls, I did not have any storefronts so I am not sure exactly what happens. Please hang in there...one of the members who are more knowledgable in this area will be along soon.

With the storefronts, seeing as you have been a customer there for awhile, I would go in and talk to the manager and tell them your situation and see what they could do for you. It sucks that you cannot close your checking account, that would make it easier. I had 10 internet and 10 storefront loans out and what I did was contact the storefronts and tell them what was going on and that if they cashed my check it was going to be returned. So I did end up with alot of NSF fees because of this. But then I made agreements to the storefronts and paid them a little each payday. And because I had been a customer there for so long most of them agreed to it but there were a couple that didn't and those got sent to collections. For me Advance America was the easiest to deal with (some people have had problems with them) They agreed to very small payments each week ($25) So I would see if they would even accept that. But I don't think they will take just $10 a month. I would check out what the others are saying about the free consult. There are some companies that do work with payday lenders. This just might be a better way to go for you seeing as you cannot close your checking account.
