I have several payday loans in Texas - I've posted details in another topic and a couple of topics here indicate that there are letters to send??? so (a) when dealing with storefront PDL, is it in my best interests to work with them in person or is there a letter that should be sent to formerly request EPP? They are often very rude and offer NO ASSISTANCE when in person. and part (b) are there any letters that I haven't seen on here that I could customize for each of the lenders I need to work with???

suggestions?

My husband lost his job and I wasn't able to make the minimum payments... can't squeeze blood from a turnip... when I called them - BEFORE it defaulted and asked for information about what I can do I was told that I had to let them try to take it from my account and once it came back to them NSF then I would have a few more days to pay it back.

Am I sunk at this point?

What are the names of the store fronts?

When I got my EPP I went in one day before the loan was due and they let me pay the first payment on my next pay in two weeks.

If they are a member of CFSA then they have to offer the EPP. If the store customer service person does not know what it is ask to speak to a manager. If that does not work them call the corporate office.
