I have sent my letters via email, with the hard copies going out within the next couple of days. I have one that is $30 short of being paid in full (according to my accounting, not theirs). My question is this. . if they don't supply me with a mailing address within the 10 day window I gave them, should I consider paying the $30 on the lst of the month using a mailing address that can be located on this board? Or should I just hang in there and wait for them to supply me with a mailing address? Psychologically speaking, sending the $30 and getting it paid in full (at least in my mind) feels better to me than having it hanging over my head any longer. If I do send it, I will have pay back what I borrowed to 3 out of 5 PDLer's. Suggestions? Advice? Thanks my friends.

LLW, If you would find comfort in paying them then do so and use whichever address you can find. Just be sure to use a money order or some other form that can be tracked just in case. Send it certified return receipt too so you can verify if it got there and then be done with them. I know it is a relief when you have paid them off and are done with one more.

..and when you send in the $30 money order, ensure that you include a letter that states that by cashing this money order, this loan will be paid in full and that you expect a paid in full notice.

In the eyes of the PDL, they probably dont consider the $30 as a payoff since they are trying to suck you dry with fees.

Roxy (I love that name by the way and the pix!) thanks for the response. Do you know, by any chance, a good address for our friends at US Fast Cash? I have an address in Miami, Ok, which is the same as ameriloan, which I think maybe connected to MTE? Anything different out there? Also, do Money orders HAVE to be signed to be good? I'm hesitant to put my actual signature on ANYTHING going out to these snakes.

Kashzan, I agree with you! You see pictures of smiling people on their websites, things like "we want to help you get the cash you need," and so on, ad nauseum. But they only want to deal with us as long as THEY are in control of our money at all times. Many people here WANT to pay off their accounts, but cannot find legitimate addresses to send their payments to. My question to the PDL companies is, if they are truly on the up-and-up, if they truly want to work with their customers, why hide behind so many non-functioning telephone numbers and invalid addresses?

WAIT!!! llw, USFastCash is using a different address now! Surprised? No. It's another one of MTE's addresses, but it's the most current one they are using as of now. It is:

USFastCash
3531 P St. NW
Miami, OK 74355

Also, if you would like to harrass them regarding the $30 and mailing a payment and getting a pif letter try:

compliancedepartment(at)usfastcash.com

Ohh.... they just LOVE to get emails!

I'll be REAL honest with you regarding USFastCash. Do NOT turn your back for a minute. No, they will not consider the $30 as paying in full. Even if you send it, they will NOT send you a pif letter. They are horrible, horrible, horrible. They will still harrass you and insist you owe a million dollars. If it makes you feel better to send them the $30, go for it. However, they will not appreciate it or acknowledge that you've paid them in full. They are absolutely INSANE.

cannr-Then why send the $30 if they will not mark it paid in full and not include a letter to them stating that if they cash the money order, it is agreeing to consider the loan paid in full?

I hear what you are saying based on your experience with them....but if what you are saying is fact, then quite frankly I wouldnt send them a dime.

volley, that was the point I was trying to make. If it would make llw feel better to pay the $30 just to ease her mind, then that's fine. However, they will not (I promise you) consider it pif and they will not mark it pif and they will still (even though it's paid) harrass llw for the money they consider they are still owed. Honestly, it would be equal to not sending another dime. I overpaid these people, did everything under the sun to just be marked pif, let alone get a refund... long story short, they hit my account with an electronic check (luckily the bank blocked it) for over $400 after MONTHS of nothing from them. So actually, I personally wouldn't send another penny to these guys. I just didn't want to tell llw what to do. So, agreed volley, I wouldn't send them a dime.

Thanks to all for your quick response and advice. The address I have for US Fast Cash is the Miami, Ok address and it is exactly the same as ameriloan, which makes me think they too, are on in the same. I do understand about not paying anything additional and I also understand that sending anything to them is not going to produce a PIF, at least not in their minds anyway. However, they did deposit $300 into my account and I have repaid $270.00 of that amount. I just feel that I do owe them the $30.00 and if push comes to shove, I have made an honest attempt at repaying what I borrowed. I am dealing with Ameriloan right now, through the BBB, and they have made me an offer, which I covered in another post. Not going to take it, but they did offer.

Not to worry VB Mom. I will send a statement asking for a PIF. I don't really expect to see one any time soon, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Who knows, they may have a weak moment. As for the money order, does it need a "signature" in order to make it a legal tender? Everything they have from me is strictly in the form of an e-signature. I really don't want them to have ANYTHING that contains my actual signature. Lord knows what they would do with that! In this day and age everything seems to be done by e-signature and I really question the validity of any documents containing such signatures. Anyone could submit a document with an e-signature as long as they have the "proper" answers to the questions that are asked. When dealing with the internet, does anyone really know just who they are communicating with? SS#s are on so many pieces of info these days and all it takes is one slip and it could be out there in cyber world for the taking.
