United Cash Loans

I'm getting out from under the PDLS, which are illegal in Maryland. Anyhow, I received another call from United Cash Loans; I explained that they were illegal in Maryland and that I could give him the phone # for the Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation, the office I'm working with on my PDL's. He said he didn't want it and when I asked for HIS address/phone number, he wouldn't give me anything. He said that they were in Oklahoma and Maryland laws didn't apply. I'd done a check on THIS site and found an address for United Cash Loans in New York. Now we've all seen the websites with the pictures of smiling satisfied customers, the testimonials about how the PDL's help people; if these companies are truly trying to provide good service to their customers, if they really want to work with people on getting the money paid back, why, why, WHY do they all have so many "dummy" addresses and telephone numbers? (Their phone # appeared as 000 000 0000) They only care about our money as long as THEY are in control. Well, I keep a log of all e-mails and calls I receive from these pests and forward them to the MD Commissioners' Office, so they know what's going on. I know the PDL companies for what they are now so I'm not scared of them, but they're still a pain, aren't they?
