I had a bill that was fraud and I have been fighting this for years, recently, I decided to pay the bill to get it off of my credit and these stupid people do not know how to remove a bill. After I paid the bill they are putting me through the loop to get it removed..
They are allowing people to turn on services in other people's name with having or showing ID or anything like that.

And PG&E is also notorious for doing what you have described. Found out the hard way that my sister opened an account in my name.
