I cannot pay these, not even their renewing fee. I either pay this of keep food on my table and a roof over my head or give them my money. I'm so stressed out right now.. Okay. I want to pay them back but would like to do it one at a time. I do not wish for them to continue debiting straight from my checking account (well fargo), so I'm considering closing my checking account.
Can any one help me with advice on how to go about doing this, and also have any of you tried making payment arrangements with these people and has it worked?
Thanks for all your help!

Sell everything you can, get a second job, borrow from your pare
Sell everything you can, get a second job, borrow from your parents or anything you can do short term. PDL's are like open wounds that bleed. Desperate measures may have to be taken to get rid of them short term. Future, never borrow from them. If you need food, go to a church or a shelter before you think of PDL's. Working two jobs and sitting at home doing nothing is better than borrowing money from anyone. Read Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey, it will give you a financial roadmap.

I was down to nothing left to sell, no one to borrow from when I took out my pdl's. It was a desperate action that only worsened as time went by.
One way or another I will get out of this.
One of Dave's counselors is a friend of my daughter's. When she graduated highschool with a full scholarship, he gave her Dave's last book as a grad present. Says he will see her in a few years when she is a millionaire if she follows his plan.
As I stated in another thread, he deals with many who have very big incomes, and within a year or so, they are on their way to investing. Perhaps these people are smarter or wiser than me.

No, egypt. This "guest" has been posting this stuff on a lot of threads. It's getting really old quick to me! I certainly can't afford to run out and buy his book, let alone live by it! No one is smarter or wiser than you are. You know what your life is and what you have to do. Until someone walks in your shoes, they can't say a whole lot. Every individual is different and every situation is different. For someone to come along and just say "Go listen to/buy this and your problems will be fixed" is living in a fairy tale.......
are these internet pdls legal in my state ?

Issita, have you already contacted Langhorne? Are they going to take your case? I don't know if you're going to go with them or if you want to take care of these yourself. Can you please give an update?
pdl mess-
Well, I did contact Langhorne and they do want to take my case. Are they a trust-worthy.. their fee is $968 to help me.. I know I would be paying much more if I keep renewing this loans with the pdloans but I kinda thought their fees would be less. Can you tell me if the PDL will stop calling once they receive contact from Langhorne, or would they still call and harrass me?

If you're working with a company to handle your pdls, the good thing about it is that if they do call you or email you or try to harrass you, you just give them the name and telephone number of Langhorne. That's what you're paying them for. You're using their service so that you don't have the headache of dealing with all the crap they put you through. Yes, it does cost. That's why a lot of us just do it ourselves - it's free. But it's hard work, time consuming, and you have to put up with the harrassment. When you have Langhorne or T&C, you just refer the nasty people on to them. They should take care of it. I've heard good things about Langhorne. One member on here that I know uses them and they've done good by her. She's just glad to not have to deal with all the crap. And I certainly don't blame her. Hell, if I had the money, I probably would have used a company!! But, since I didn't, I went for it and fought the fight myself. It got ugly, but it's over now. I think you'll do fine if you chose to use their service. I know everyone has their own opinion; however, the people that I know that have used them are happy with them.

I am currently working with Langhorne and I am EXTREMELY satisfied with them! You will get very few collection calls, if any, once you start working with Langhorne. Good luck!
