Help?
I just got out of High School in June 2007, and was forced to move out by my mother August of 2007 to Santa Monica, California. For those of you who don't know, Santa Monica is a very expensive place in Los Angeles, California and my rent is crazy. She chose the place where I was to reside, and made it seem as though she'd take care of me, but as time time progresses, her help seizes and the costs are being left to me! My rent is Nearly $1700 a month!!! It's ridiculous! And, I just started college in August at a community college near where I live. It is cheaper than a university, of course, but it is still outrageous when you have to pay for all of it yourself. I just started my Spring Semester in the beginning of February, and I had to pay for my tuition, and my books, which has come up to about $900! Because of this, I now owe Washington Mutual $527, and my rent is four days away from being due. I've gone to my mom, who is partly responsible for putting me in this situation, but she has shrugged me off, I'm stuck in a rut! And that's not even everything! I'm trying so hard to do well in school, I don't even go out at night, I just stay in and work to avoid spending money, and to get ahead in school, but money is overtaking my mind and it makes it hard to focus. How could I forget..
I also owe the hospital $670 from when I got a kidney infection in December. I thought my insurance covered it, and THEY TOLD ME all I owed was $100 for the co payment, but I got a bill in the mail two days ago stating otherwise.
sllybot-Being in CA myself, I know rent is very high and Santa M
