what the heck is MMCA/C1. I have a debt, excuse me "charge off" on my report that is damned near laughable( for 34K!!!!!!, like that lil' puppy isn't affecting my score just slightly...looks like Citibank is at it again, along with old Equifax, Transunion, and Experian, slight defamation suit? reporting agencies and creditors? wow, that is just the beginning of the puzzle, this should be fun, thanks CRA's and Creditors, you've been great!!!!

The only thing I could find was that MMCA is Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America. Were you leasing a Mitsubishi because from what I could see that is what this creditor does. I am not sure what the C1 means.

If you think this has been reported to the credit bureaus in error, I would definatley file a dispute.

This is Calvary Porfolio Svc. If you leased a vehicle from Mitsubishi and it was repoed or is under collection, they will buy the debt and use the MMCA to make you think it has something to do with Mitsubishi. Very sneaky!

My young son bought a car from (he didn t listen to dad) "a guy", a young guy who said he had lost the title but would get it - or a new one --- my son was pulled over by the law (doing their job) and his car towed as the registration didn t match.
In trying to find the guy and figur eout how to get his car from the pound, we found out from the state that the car had a lien on it -- from this MMCA in California and I have not been able to find their phone number, and I suppose without their help (?) my son cannot gain the title or have the bonding group within the state Dept. of Transportation do anything with us.
Anyone have any ideas? --- Anyone know how I find an actual phone # for MMCA? - I had to see my sons money and "his" car gone without a fight, and a young Madoff walk away with easy money! - Thanks!!
