got a summon. What to do????

I received a summon at the door Sunday. I live in Michigan and its 6 yrs for sol. i don't have any paper work on the account since its been around six ago. any suggestions, get a lawyer??

Try calling the original creditor to find out the date of last activity. The worst they can do is tell you to get bent.
