Well, seeing as how pdls are illegal in your state, you didn't want these pdls debiting your bank account anyway. They are lending to you illegally. Plus, the fact that our advice in the beginning of finding out that someone lives in a state that pdls are prohibited is to close the bank account so the pdls can no longer debit, your bank account should have already been closed to prevent these illegal people from debiting. Is that what your concern is? The fact that you had to close your account so now these illegal pdls can not debit you????

You need to file complaints against these companies, and send them letters certified mail explaining to them that per NC's laws, these loans are illegal. You would only owe them the principle amount of the loan. If you have already paid this in fees, then they would need to refund any overpayment, or mark your loan paid in full.
