610-840-8147 HELP!!!!

i keep getting calls several times a day from 610-840-8147. it's a recorded voice that states my name, but it just tells me to stay on the line. When i do, no one ever gets on the line and it eventually disconnects. I have even tried calling this number back and just get a recording, never a real human. my main problem with this is they call me 4xs a day at least with the last call always coming in between 9-10pm EST. i thought it was illegal for them to call after 9pm.
I have also had them call me at 7am on a Saturday.
i have done internet searches and have seen that they are a collection agency but i have no idea what for!
Any advise on how to handle?

Kash doesn't work for them, she's a consumer advocate just like the rest of our members. She was able to obtain that information using one of the many public information sources. You can google the phone number (works best without the hyphens or other non numerical characters) and find all kinds of stuff on it.

Just relax, she's here to help you just like the other members.

Now as for the calling time issues, they are allowed to call you from 8am-9pm, so any calls received outside of that time frame would be a FDCPA/TCPA violation. If you choose to file suit over it consult an attorney to see if you can do it as a TCPA suit because it's more lucrative.
