I have 2 paydays loans...

SandPoint Capital
$75 every 2 weeks, $200 balance not paid down at all, 5 payments made now totaling $375.

365fastcash.com
$74 every 2 weeks, $200 balance not paid down at all, 5 payments made now totaling $370.

Is there anything I can do short of closing my account? I have direct deposit and direct withdrawals set on this account for other bills and changing everything would be a pain but if it's my only option the so be it! HELP!!!!!!! :) Thanks!

According to your states laws you have legally paid all you owe. You should close your account to stop the withdrawals and get a live check for a while until you can open a new account. Be ready for a battle with these people! Make sure you bank does not have a force open policy for closed account if an electronic withdrawal hits.

I just spoke with one and they said they would consider the payments I've made and close the account as being paid in full and close it and stop all further debits. I let them off the phone for now, but do I have any reason to believe this? They are emailing me something in writing as well.

mrcyypc, you borrowed $200 from each of these pdls, correct? Exactly how much have you paid them so far? I see you posted how much they debit every two weeks; however, how much have they gotten so far? We can see if you've overpaid and by how much. Criminal action is prohibited in your state, so you can close your account or put a hard debit block on it so that no more debits can come out of it. Which one of the pdls told you they would consider you paid in full and stop debiting? You need something in writing stating that, of course. But I'm wondering how much you have paid them. I can check to see if either one of these guys are licensed in your state.

A little hint about Michigan - if they don't have a physical presence here, they are most likely not licensed. Not in all cases, however - but I would say the internet PDL's out there that are only lendng $200 a shot are NOT licensed.

There are a handful of internet PDL companies that are licensed to lend into Michigan, but they are also companies that have storefronts as well as websites.
