Just called attorney general's office and the lady asked me why I was reported illegal activity when I had been involved in the activity myself. What do I do now?

She was so mean! I just finally hung up cause I got scared! She was saying I was gonna be in trouble because I took the money! I told her that I was unaware that they were illegal when I took the money.

stroker, can you file a complaint with the state AG on line? Google your state attorney general. The site should come up. Go to it and look for something regarding "consumer help" or something like that. Then look for "file a complaint". Lord! If they're that nasty when you call them, that's sad! But you still want to file a complaint. See if you can do it on line. If you can't, it might be like in my state. I just had to download the forms and fill them out and mail them to the AG office. My goodness! I can't believe they treated you like that!

I just wonder if all state AG offices are getting tired of people complaining of all of these pdl companies...but what else can we do...know one knows what to do until they get in this big mess. I would have never known about any of them not being legal to lend money...

hang in there stroker...I would still file a complaint if they let you.. I sure am with mine...cause I had no clue either..
