LIke Sherry, I have not been able to pay my house or car payment because of the fees. I am going to the bank today about closing my account. HELP!
Are there any licensing issues with any of the companies I am dealing with?

I just posted to the other thread and then I saw this...good job... Texas is very pdl friendly and alot of the time the pdls will operate as Credit Service Organizations so they do not have to follow the pdl laws....I will do some research on your companies and post the laws..Hang in there..I will be back as soo as I can.

cannr.. . I too am hoping that it was a typo error. What has been paid by so many of us is so disturbing to me that I could literally throw up. God, how can we stop these people? I have to admit that you guys have made my life SO much better since I found you. I am so much stronger. I don't let this bother me that much any more. Actually, I sometimes have to laugh at them. How oblivious are these people. With the amount of letters they are receiving you would think that would pack it up and leave before it bites them where they most deserve it. It is so frustrating to me that I can't just make it go away for all of us.

llw, I'm glad you've gotten to the point to where you can laugh now! It takes awhile, but it does get funny after awhile! And, I am REALLY hoping that amount is a typo, or I'm going to have a heart attack!

roxy, the only one that sounds as though it MIGHT be a storefront could be Texas Loan Corporation/TLC/Cash Central. I've never heard of that one. The other ones, I've heard of. However, I'm not sure because of the amount paid back and the amount still owed (?).

max - can you please verify if these are all internet loans? And also if the amount I questioned is correct?

CMG is associated with Neivis out of the West Indies, not going to be licensed.

500 Fast Cash associated with MTE, not going to be licensed

Paragon funing, not going to be licensed

Cash spot is licensed in DE.

Cannr, I was wondering about the store fronts becuase I found those two on the license website for Texas under the state info on payayloaninfo.org

Max, We are really happy to help. We both know what you are going through becuase we both (as well as most of the members in this fourm) have been where you are. That is why I stuck around after I got my situation under control. You do need to take care of the bank. That is your most importatnt task. Please be sure to read the information on closing your account one of us posted. As for the unlicensed pdls do not worry about them right now. If I am correct, if they are not licensed, you do not have to worry about them.

Help I had my identity stolen online. A company called MYCASHNOW and credit protection depot, not sure who is who, they are debiting hundreds of dollars out of my checking account. I went to the bank and they were the ones who helped me come up with the names listed. I have contacted the attorney general office in TN and also consumer affairs, and a private attorney. I tried to call these people myself..well they were rude and nasty. They are useless. I need to try and resolve most of this on my own, attorney fees are high. Need all the help I can get. Last year I had this happen and put A fraud alert on my credit account, I was to be contacted personally if any tried to open an loan or credit application under my social security number, but no I was never aware of this MYCASHNOW until it was to late.

Hi, I am going back to the bank tomorrow, I had a check out that cleared last night, so I should be able to close it tomorrow. I already have another account open that I can use, so I will close this one. Now, do I need to send letters or call any of these companies? My next due dates are next week, starting on the 11th. When they start calling me, what do I say?

Hi, max! If your bank account is "safe" to where these pdls can no longer debit, we can send some letters out to them. Your next debits are due on the 11th? We can send the letters out now. We have a letter that we use as a "guide". You will have to change the letter to fit each individual pdl and situation. Like if you overpaid, demand a refund, if you paid the principle, demand a paid in full letter, if you haven't paid all the principle, get a mailing address to send money orders only. You might get some calls once they receive the letters. You might not get any calls until they realize their debits are not going through. As far as telephone calls are concerned, that is addressed in the letter. It's telling them to only contact you via email or USPS. Do NOT take their calls. Let them go to voice mail. Just don't take them if you can possibly get out of it. You want documentation of EVERYTHING, so you want everything in writing. No phone calls - there is no documentation. Also, you're going to need to file complaints with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG on these pdls. We do have some work ahead of us, but we can do it together! We'll get through it. I promise. Now, do you know how to use the 'pm' feature? You can send and receive messages from members. I can send you a letter through pm and some additional instructions. To send a 'pm', just look for one of my posts or roxy's or whoever and you will see a little 'button' that has two people on it and it says 'pm'. Click on that. It'll go right to the person you chose to send one to. Try it. Send me a pm (you have to be logged in, not posting as a guest) and I'll see if I receive it and I'll respond to you. Then we'll know we're on a roll. I'll send you the letter and further information. Okay?

When I log in my real name is my user name, and I can't see how to change it, I would rather my real name not be on all my posts. How do I change that?

I am in a similiar situation with a horrible twist, I have several PDLS:
Cash Call $1385
United CashLoans $420
TGI INV Funding $390
First Bank of Delaware $1500
Cash Call $2500

I am at my wits end, I cannot keep the payments up and I am contemplating closing the account they have access to... I am a bank employee however and I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. My account is overdrawn, and I could lose my job due to it, But if they begin to call me at work, I will also be close to losing my job... I did these loans as my husband has been in and out of work for several months, and I have been struggling to care for our family, but I am in a real mess. If I close the account, should I contact these companies or wait to hear from them? Can they get into my other account? I am sick to my stomach, I feel like I am going to have a nervous break down, and I just don't know how to fix this. I would be happy to make payment arrangements... I live in Florida..

trouble, I see that you posted the amounts owed to these companies. Is this the PRINCIPLE amount borrowed? Can you do us a favor? Can you list them and then put the principle amount borrowed (only what was deposited into your bank account), how much you have paid them to date total so far. We can better help you that way.

I'll post your Florida state pdl law for you and us all to see.

I do know that Cash Call will be licensed/legal. You will have to abide by their terms.

First Bank of Delaware will be licensed/legal. You will have to abide by their terms.

CashNetUSA will be licensed/legal. You will have to abide by their terms.

United - is that United Cash Loans? And TGI - is that the name or the initials for a name?

I don't know what TGI stands for... With Cash Call and First Bank of Delaware, I can call and have them debit a different account? those 2 are $400 a month, I can't afford those and all the others. Is there anything I can do about United, TGI and Cash Net... meaning payment arrangements, ect.?

Cash Call and the First Bank of Delaware are actually considered installment loans rather than pdls. You can contact them and make payment arrangements. With luck, you can try to get "new" payment arrangements with them (like maybe lower?). I'm not sure how they would handle it. Personally, I would stick with the "I don't have a bank account" story and see if you can mail payments in rather than having anyone debit your bank account anymore. CashNetUSA is another one that you'll have to do the same thing with. See if you can set up payment arrangements that you can afford and see if you can mail payments in. United - if it's United Cash Loans, they won't be licensed/legal. And your other one, TGI, I don't have a clue as to who they are. Do you have any information on them at all? An address or phone number?

I put the TGI telephone number in the BBB site and it looks like it's a Geneva Roth pdl.
