Payday Loans

Has anyone out there resolved a payday loan with Sonic Payday aka E-Care aka Northway Financial??? They are unrelenting in calling every number they can and asking for anyone and everyone. Without talking with them, I am unsure how to handle it.

received this email today:This department has received recent communication regarding the above account. The communication received is recognized as portions of a form letter (cut and Paste template) being widely circulated via the Internet. Unfortunately this form letter is filled with misleading and incorrect information. The use of this form letter leads us to believe that there is not a specific complaint connected with the handling of your account. Please be reminded that the terms and conditions of the agreement you entered into with our company was presented to you at the time of your application and you were given a 48 hour window in which to cancel the agreement. In addition before each debit processed (within the guidelines of the agreement) you were given an account summary stating your options of fulfilling the agreement including instructions for repayment of the entire amount of the advance, in order not to incur additional fees. Since there is no mention of a specific problem with the way your account has been handled we must conclude your account was handled as agreed therefore your account will continue to be handled as agreed. Your persistence in this matter with us or any other agency that does not include an account of how your account was handled out of the guidelines of the signed agreement will merit the same response as the one you are now reading.

A copy of your electronically signed contract can be faxed for your review. If, after your review, you find your account was handled differently than was/and is stated in the agreement please forward those details at once so further review of your account can be completed. It is our earnest endeavor to provide the best possible customer service and customer satisfaction and miss-handled accounts will be researched and addressed immediately.

I received that same response yesterday from the same company.

geneva roth...i will probably be getting one of those...i sent a letter to loan point usa and i believe they are geneva roth. i do have an attorney helping me out though...so maybe that will help.

I am sorry about the loss of your job but everybody is right, you need to close you account asap so you can make arrangements to pay your loans off. Have you contacted the AG's office yet?

closed my account couple weeks back. Been sending out letters to all the pdl's. Just one of the responses I have received. Have filed complaints with AG. Trying to get thru it.

Has anyone settled with sonic payday loans? They tell me they don't accept mailed payments. . . electronic only. I want to pay them back but they are trying my patience.

There is only one rule in regards to Sonic Payday and to any of the others that will not accept mail in payments, that is no address=no payment.
Western Union and Money Gram are too high.

Ok, guys, got a voice mail today from a Larry Cole that said he needed to obtain a statement from me before pursuing further action and hopes that I get this message IN TIME and "good luck". Didnt identify who he was with tho. It sounds like one of those "threatening" calls that others have spoken of. Things were going so well!!!

sounds ilke an illegal threatening call.unless he gives details in his voice message i would delete it.sounds like a bottomfeeder that can do nothing but call.

If that is Cashnet USA they are licensed in every state, usually under a different name, check the upper left hand corner of your loan docs for how they are licensed in Texas.

Ok, guys, I need your help. . . the same person called one of my references and left a message that I was a "defendant" and they were trying to reach me (freaked my friend out)..... I can't have "HIM" keep calling my references and telling them this kind of stuff - should I return his call?????? Or just assume he will go away??? I have tried to NOT speak with anyone.

you are going to have to explain your situation to your family and references.he's doing this to get you to respond so he can do his illegal thing.that is how a scammer like him operates.if you haven't talked to your references yet,do so asap.this mope must be stopped.talking to him will only get YOU more calls.if you are put off by him calling your references then call him back,but you will be called repeatedly after that.just cover your work calls.just know he is part of a scam and can do nothing but the calling he's doing.

I told my friend that if she got another call, just to tell them NOT to call her number again... that she has NO idea how to reach me and they are wasting their time calling her. I told her it was a collector and I was sorry they contacted her. So, I won't call... btw, he left another message on my phone that he was calling because he had been retained to file a 1099-C against me and needed my "statement of intent" before consulting with his attorneys.

listen to that idiocy.he can't get any statement over the phone.he has to send it in writing.what a loser.just keep doing what your doing.

Also, he never says who he is with or who he is collecting for???? So I am not even 100% certain it is a payday loan collector. He has left a call back number - does anyone recognize the name? Or this number 877-290-4906 or the spiel?

just tried to google the#.nothing came up.will try to call it later.until then do not respond to him.he is a scamming bottomfeeder that much i can tell you.evrything he's said so far is illegal.i will try that number soon and let you know what i find out.

i did call and got nowhere.the man was evasive and didn't want to tell anything.hung up on me when i wouldn't give him my information.wouldn't really talk to them.sound like a bottomfeeder.
