Help! PDL calling my work all day
Date: Fri, 03/07/2008 - 16:18
Does anyone know how many times a pdl can call your work each day. I have one that keeps calling me everyday. Yesterday they called (18) times, and went to my house twice. My 17 year old son is the only one home, and is it legal to go to my house and harass my son while I am at work? Who can I talk to about this. This is all over $150.00 loan. I am in the process of consolidation, and they will start getting their money next week. I have told them this and yet they continue like I am just going to go "here take this". Thanks for advice in advance

This doesn't sound like a debt collector, but a PDL company gone haywire (like many of them do).
If you can post the following information, we can help you get out of the PDL cycle and start getting your paycheck and your life back:
-state you live in
-name of the PDL company (or companies) you are dealing with
-whether they are internet or storefront based
-how much you borrowed
-how much you have paid back (including interest or "rollover fees")
With that info, we can help you out and you'll be able to get these calls to stop.

PDLs do whatever they feel like when it comes to collecting! You need to file comlpaints with the FTC and the BBB and just keep hanging up on them. Eventually they move on!
