im confuzzed once a charge off is put on a account can i have it removed for exchange for payment??????im hearing diff answers on this one if any one here was able to have this done for them please let me know im feeling hopeless and sad.......its chase i want to pay but also want to improve my credit score.

A creditor/CA has a duty to report factual information and in compliance with FCRA; but there is no law that says they have to report it, and there's no law that says once it's there it cannot be removed. That said, it is up to the creditor/CA 's discretion whether they want to remove your account in exchange for payment. Some will, some won't. It doesn't hurt to try to negotiate for the removal. If they agree to it, just make sure you get it in writing as a deletion and not just a "paid in full" comment.
