First thing this morning I got this offer from USFastCash through the BBB:

March 6, 2008

Better Business Bureau
Dan Wade

Mr. Wade:

As stated in the previous response, the terms and conditions were met, and we are under no obligation to even reduce this balance. It is being done as a courtesy only. She has missed the deadline, but we will give one more extension until 03/10/08 only.
****************************************************************************************************************
We have asked for all collections to cease at this time, and we will offer this customer a one-time settlement offer on the account, as a courtesy only. The current balance is $390.00; we will reduce this balance to $140.00 until 03/03/08 only.
This must be paid via Moneygram, instructions as follows:

Moneygram: (available at most Wal-mart's)
Pay to: USFastCash
Receive Code: 4307
City/State: Miami, OK
Account: 93448792

If the reduced balance is not paid by this date, the account will continue per the contract signed, for the full amount due.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Respectfully,
Compliance Department

CC/File

They think they are doing me a favor. . . .

Here's what I fired back at them:

The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
A previously stated, I have already paid $270.00 on a $300 ILLEGAL loan. These payments can be substantiated by the withdrawals to my bank account. These types of loans are PROHIBITED in New York State, a fact that I was not aware of at inception of the loan and also a fact that was not made known to me, by USFastCash, prior to the depositing of said funds. However, an email was sent to USFastCash, detailing this information prior to the processing of my complaint through this organization so they were well aware of the illegality of this transaction. If USFastCash requires a copy of said statement, I would be more than willing to send it to an email address provided me by USFastCash. I too am under NO OBLIGATION to repay anymore than was deposited into my account on November 13, 2008, as per the laws of New York State. As I have previously stated, I am more than willing to repay the final $30 to pay this debt in full. Further, I will require a mailing address to send the said $30 as I will NOT send any additional funds via Moneygram. Complaints have been filed with the Attorney General of New York State as well as the FTC, in addition to this complaint. Please note. . this proposal is unacceptable to me as a resolution to this matter. The $30.00 will be sent as soon as I am provided with a mailing address.

So, the battle continues but I can play hardball as well as the next person. I am really get sick and tired of their ultimatums and ridiculous offers. They should be thankful they are getting anything much less an additional $140. I just keep on hitting the forward button on my C and D letters until it finally sinks in. Have a good one!

llw! Oh, I'm having flashbacks of my dealings with USFastCash! And, I have to say - YOU GO, MY FRIEND!!!! Thank God I am not the only one who ripped these a$$holes when they responded with their crap to the BBB. I'm sooooooooooo proud of you! YES! Personally, I say they can stick that $30 up their you-know-what. But, I'm being bad by saying that. These guys are so horrible. They played the BIGGEST head games of all with me out of all my pdls. And I had 12! These guys almost drove me to the brink of insanity! It never did end until they FINALLY months and months and months later, responded to my state AG with an angry letter stating they they "wrote off my balance" (yes, I overpaid them!) and considered my account closed. Well, well, well! Wasn't that sweet of this illegal friggin company to claim they "wrote off my balance" and closed the account? Nice.......... They got about $100 extra out of me; however, claimed I still owed like $300 or something totally friggin stupid. I, too, would NOT back down to their so called settlements. You keep going strong, my friend! I'm behind you 110%! Great job!

Oh cannr, thanks so much. Ya know, I am to the point where I really don't care what the h**l they do. They can threaten all they want, they can call all they want. Scare tactics don't work on me. Heck, we can have a conference call with the local Sheriff if they would like. They can talk about the money they think I owe them and I can talk about their illegal operation. Let's see, who has more to worry about? To be honest with you, I can play hardball for as long as they want to. . . .it doesn't bother me in the least.

I just LOVE you! I actually started getting a "charge" out of playing hard ball with these creeps. You have got SUCH the right frame of mind regarding all of this. I can tell you're going to fight the fight and come out on top! It won't be long, llw, and you'll be enjoying the "normal" life again! WAY TO GO!!!!

cannr. . funny you should talk about getting a "charge" out of playing their games. I kinda find myself checking my emails to see if I have had a response from them. If you were to ask some of my closet friends, they would "loving" say I have adult ADD as "calmness" in my life only lasts a very short time before another crisis of some sort gives way to the "craziness" that seems to "find" me. Not to say that I don't enjoy a little peace and quite at times but I get bored very quickly with that. I guess on am on my best game when things are "hectic".

cannr. . .you are being too kind. . . just morons? I really do have to laugh. How long do they think this can go on? How many people have passed through this board and sent the same exact letter to them? After the first 20 or so, I think I would be getting out of Dodge before Matt Dillion found me. Like I always say, give em enough rope and they will eventually hang themselves!

Well, I honestly can say that I probably sent these jerks enough emails for about 1,000 people. Honestly. They BLOCKED me from sending them any more email! They literally wrote me an email in BIG HUGE BOLD LETTERS telling me to leave them alone, not send any more emails, and that they wouldn't corresponde with me any longer! So.... I continued to emaill them and they kept sending them back to me! Can you believe it???? It was hilarious! Of course, I was laughing my a$$ off as I was getting my stuff ready to send to my state AG with their email telling me to leave them alone included in it!

If you keep on sending it, don't be surprised if you get that BIG BOLD email! I will just crack up if you do!! It was like a child crying "Leave us alone!" Hell no! They harrassed the crap out of me. I was just playing their game! Keep it up, llw! I have a feeling we're two of a kind!

cannr. . .it takes like two seconds to resend these emails so sending them on a daily basis is not a problem for me. Heck, I might just start my morning by saying "hello" to them and then a "goodnight" as well. I'll be the first thing they see in the morning and the last thing at night. Perhaps they will make a deal just to get rid of me!

kash. . I too am hoping that living in New York will be a positive thing for me. That is why I specifically address everything to them in the "New York" context. Hopefully, it will finally sink in and they will realize that they are pulling the "no no", not me. Either they are really stupid, think we are just as stupid as they are or someone in the organization has a set of steel ones on them! I am leaning towards the "they are really stupid" theory.

kash. . .I am truly amazed at how many states do allow them. It would seem that almost everyone who asks for the State Laws on this forum are in a state that does not prohibit them. There seem to be very few who have outlawed them but I do see, now and then, that another state has jumped on the bandwagon. Perhaps knowing that most states allow it is what gives them the gumption to keep this up. We can only hope to educate people and limit their source of income.

cannr. . I haven't had a problem with emails going to USFast Cash but I tried to send a copy of my C and D to MyCashNow and PayDayMax this morning and the MyCashNow came back as "refused". Both MyCashNow and PayDayMax are connected to Credit Protection Depot, I think, and both of those accounts have been blocked to me as well, but I haven't received any phone calls specifically to PayDayMax, but the phone call might have been in regards to both. I didn't speak with them, nor did my references so I can't say that for sure. I got the reverse information on the number from this site so I know it was them. So those two won't accept my emails, I haven't heard anything from CPD since I sent Mr. Know it all a copy of my C and D letters. USFastCash is trying to play let's make a deal with me, through the efforts of the BBB. ameriloan has been settled and Star Advance is nowhere to be found. They don't answer my emails and I asked for a mailing address from me to pay the remainder of my principal and I got zippo from them. I am just glad that I have a running record of who gets what because I really don't think these people can keep any of this straight. Maybe that's the key. If I confuse them enough they will go away.

You know, they might be refusing your email. Like USFastCash did mine. Idiots. Is Mr. Dick Head handing both MyCashNow and PayDayMax? Apparently he got your letter. Hell, they might just be laying low and then pounce when you least expect it. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Star Advance hasn't responded either? I know it's hard keeping this crap straight. Lord Almighty. I had files and binders and boxes of stuff in alphabetical order trying to keep it straight! LOL! I put a cover sheet on top of each one so that I could update it and just look at the top sheet to see where I was on each one. Of course, I still have everything. And, yes, they are all still in alphabetical order with every single piece of paper all binded or rubber banded together for each pdl! What a friggin mess!

cannr. . .I am assuming that Mr. Know it all is or will be handling both PayDayMax and MyCashNow. Credit Protection Depot is the name on my bank account for MyCashNow but I am not sure if they are listed for PayDayMax as well. The both of them are out of Canada, both denied me access to my account at the same time and their websites are identical or pretty close to it. I never spoke with them so I don't know who they were calling for but I am willing to bet a week's salary that they will be calling on both of them. I did fax him over a copy of the letters I sent to the PDLer's and I haven't heard from them since. Star Advance has been extremely silent. I emailed my letter over and I am assuming they received it as all my other emails were received and responded to at the same address. I think they are out of Panama or Costa Rica. As for the whole damn lot of them, I will never let my guard down until I have a zero balance and a PIF. Even then, I will still never be totally off my game as far as the PDLer's are concerned. I always be on the look out for suspicious activity. I keep a little notebook right on my computer so I can jot down any important info from or on them. I also send every email I get regarding the individual PDLer's in a folder on my hard drive. When I can I make a hard copy of the important stuff, like my zero balance, no more debiting letter from ameriloan. Unfortunately my banking information has been removed from the bank's website so I can't see who the debits were from. I am not sure if I will be getting a final hard copy from them but I am sure that if I asked, they could tell me what the debits were for January. I know that Credit Protection Depot came back to the phone
number on my phone and they collect for MyCashNow but I haven't found anything linking them to PayDayMax, but then again I haven't gone through all the posts either. Since I am trapped in yet another, snow/sleet/ice event, I might get on that tonight.

Well, that was easy enough. I punched in Credit Protection Depot and surprise, surprise, both MyCashNow and PayDayMax came back as connected to them. So since both of those loans defaulted at the same time, and they collect for both of them, I am assuming that perhaps my phone call was two for the price of one. I assumed that was the case so I went ahead and faxed over both of those letters to Mr. Know it all. If they didn't call on both, I guess I gave them one more "crisis" to deal with. They are probably still trying to figure out why they got two different letters from me. Hmmmm maybe that is why I haven't from them again since last week.

paulmergel. . . actually I think it's kinda funny as well. I can't begin to imagine just how many things they have going at once and how many account they have. The ameriloan thing I got didn't even have the right money info on it. I had to correct them and they went from there. Maybe WE should start picking arbitrary dollar amounts out of the air and perhaps then we would get the EXACT outcome we want. They don't seem to know who has paid what, who still owes what or even what account belongs to whom!

NOPE! Actually I was kind of hoping I would so I could shoot them that email! Never ever heard a peep from them again. Maybe my letters and complaints made them show me as "paid in full" or whatever. So that might be the reason. I didn't ask any questions. I just took the email and ran with it!

cannr. . . good for you! Right now I seem to be playing email tag with MyCashNow. I am now sending my C and D letters, via email, every day to my friends in PDL land just so they won't forget me. The one I sent out today to MyCashNow at both their support@ address and customerservice@ address has come back as refused by MyCashNow. So, I just went to my trusty MyCashNow folder on my hard drive and sent it on it's way again. I don't stop until I get what I want and I can play these games into eternity. It costs me a few minutes of my time and since I am already on the computer, I say, what the hey. Let the games begin!

US Fast Cash is not licensed in their state are they? You know they are one of *mine* and I think we already established this and since I am in TN if they are licensed anywhere, they are okay here...not like NY. Forgive me if I am redundant, but I am a bit tired too.
My daughter cleaned house this week and I have not found the last bank statement I needed to keep track of how much paid to these guys. You can still get a paper copy if you go to your Bank once the account is closed right. (I may murder her)

Oh egypt. . .please don't murder her! Ya know, if I didn't have you guys to give me a chuckle now and again it sure would be a wasted day. I am sure you will be able to get a copy of those records. Banks keep information around for a long time. Give them a call ASAP. I don't know too much about the licensing. It seems that it is complicated. I would defer to someone who is more knowledgeable in that area.

cannr. . . USFastCash is communicating with the BBB but I refused their "final" offer. I am still sending them a copy of my C and D letter and guess what. The first one today was "refused". I sent it again and Customer Service sent me back an email telling me pretty much to get lost and that they had forwarded my email over to the compliance department. I forgot to put anything in the subject line and I think that was the key. I guess maybe they thought I was applying for a loan and picked up the email. They didn't seem to want to have anything to do with it. So now I have MyCashNow, PayDayMax and UsFastCash refusing my emails. I will continue to hit that forward button just in case some idiot slips up. As my family would say, if I was ever in a hijacked plane, they would land it, throw me out just to shut me up and allow them to continue on with the business at hand. Gotta love these illegals.

eqypt, do not freak out! USFastCash is a d/b/a of MTE Financial. Not licensed/legal in ANY state in the entire US, okay? So, don't sweat them. They are just a pain in the a$$. This is why we are all talking about refusing settlements with them, etc.... They are completely illegal. So, with them, if they pull something really retarded (like offering a settlement of 300 when you owe like 30 bucks) you can basically tell them to kiss your you-know-what. They like to play hard ball; however, you can play hard ball right back. Just keep in mind - they are totally illegal. Not licensed anywhere.
