Arbitration, IFC, Langhorne - ACK!
Date: Thu, 03/13/2008 - 18:36
I just received arbitration papers from IFC and I have not heard anything from Langhorne about contacting them, etc. I can't afford to pay the fees they're now telling me I owe and don't want this to go any farther! I joined up with Langhorne last month and I'm not sure where to go from here.
Anyway, if someone has been through arbitration with one of these places or the Langhorne experience, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you! I just needed to vent here a little before I start panicking.
Thanks for reading...

You need to call Langhorne first thing in the morning tomorrow. They will give you their fax and send them the paperwork ASAP. I promise you they'll be on it immediately. But do this tomorrow, OK? And it's going to be OK, trust me.
Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely call them tomorrow a.m.
Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely call them tomorrow a.m. I really don't need any legal problems while I'm trying to clean up this mess. Thanks for the reassurances... that will help sleep a little better tonight.

Okay, I called them first thing this morning and had to leave a voicemail. I've called a couple of times since then and couldn't get through to a real person.
Anyone have a direct extension to anyone at Langhorne? I can't wait all day for them to return my calls or emails with an issue like this!
Thank you!

Okay, I sent all my information last Friday and got an email response that the messages had been forwarded to Dennis. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything beyond that.
How do I know that LH is really contacting the PDL company? It seems to be taking a long time to get any response; maybe they have too many clients now?

Thanks for your message, debtangel. I did as you suggested and IFC has only received Langhorne's initial paperwork - NOTHING in regard to the arbitration. Plus, IFC says they don't deal with companies like Langhorne. IFC is willing to work with me outside of the arbitration and I am waiting to hear what terms they may agree to. I really, REALLY can't afford the extra legal fees and don't want to get my employer involved with wage garnishments, etc.
As for Langhorne, I just left them a voicemail message AND emails asking them what is going on since they have not responded to my messages on this.
