or responding to the BBB, or allowing me access to my account (maybe that means I don't have one any longer. . .wouldn't that be nice!) I have just filed a complaint against them, again, with the BBB in Tennessee. The first one went to the Canandian address with no avail. Perhaps I will have better luck with this address. I still question whether they are individual PDL's or just one big happy group.

love. . . I hope my info has helped some. It seems like the old saying of oh what I tangled web we weave when once we try and deceive! I think this is way more involved than I had originally anticipated. My only hope is that this will all coming crashing down, and soon. Keep us posted.

llw1995, I can't log on to my account with them either and they never responded to the BBB. I filed with the BBB in Tennessee, Canada and New York. None of those received a response. I guess they don't cooperate with the BBB. They also haven't contacted me in almost three months. I hope they are gone for good.

lovedalehpbear, I didn't file with the AG because here (USVI) the AG doesn't handle these situations, it's the Division of Banking and Insurance. When I asked about pursueing Internet payday loans, they said all they do is contact the AG in the lender's state if the company can be traced. This company has different addresses so, it would be difficult to get to them. I did not file, but if I do hear from them again I definitely will seek help with them.

Gee, with so many of us having a hard time logging in to our accounts and having our emails refused, maybe the PDL Fairy has come and scooped them up! I got a response from the Canadian BBB stating that they did not anwer the complaint so I have resent it to Tennesee. I would be curious to know how many of us CAN NOT log into our accounts.

Annie. . what state are you located in if you don't mind my asking. Your scenario is identical to mine so I too am hoping that they have just disappeared like any "good" illegal PDLer should.

LOL llw1995! If only there was a pdl fairy (maybe there is)... I'm actually not in a state. I'm in the US Virgin Islands. According to the Division of Banking and Insurance, payday lenders would have to be licensed to lend here. If they are lending here, it's illegal. The laws they fall under are the small loan laws and the top rate (interest and fees)should not exceed 26% per year. Not very lucrative for a pdl lender.

Let's hope these payday creeps stay gone.

LOL! I remember that weather fondly...I went to college in Iowa. After college I moved to Florida then back home. The weather on the mainland can be quite brutal. We don't always have sunshine here though. Right now, it's rainy and chilly (not as chilly as NY). I have friends and family in NY. When they complain, I tell them you can always come home. :D ... I know... that is mean.
