bennett and deloney

i had 3 bad checks i wrote out in 2006 those checks were evatially turned over to the da office and they were doing the collections on it.. i made arrangement with the da and a week ago got a letter from bennett and deloney trying to collect on these checks.. i called the da office she told me that they still have the checks and not to pay them.. what should i do.. the da sending me copies of these allege checks that bennett and deloney are trying to collect..should i send them a cease and desist letter

I'm afraid I've still got a shorter temper than I thought, on some issues anyway.
Have you talked it over with the DA's office? A CA poaching off of another CA is one thing. Poaching off of the DA's office is likely to be quite another. Either way, sending them a STFU letter would not be out of line.
