The Statute of Limitations is a very common recurring topic on this board. It's a pretty common source of confusion, too. How about we come up with our own list of citations for this important law?

Anybody got good research skills? Post your state's SOL here! Give us a link to the actual statute, and maybe post the text of the law as well. Let's make the definitive info easily accessible to everyone in our community!

Who's game to help out?

OK..... I've added the first three states. That leaves 47 more and DC for the rest of y'all. Who's gonna be next to contribute?

If you're an attorney, or you have occasion to research yor state's SOL, post your findings here to benefit the rest of the community. Please make certain that the statutes you're posting or linking to actually apply to consumer debt, rather than personal injury or other types of legal actions. Also, please cite the actual state statutes in question, rather than another website.

Thanks!

Uncle Wulf

I was a student and left US 7 years ago without paying off my credit card bills because I was so broke at that time. Now I am thinking to go US again for vacation. Will it be any consequences for entering US again? such as being stopped in immigration checkpoint or being detained?
