I too have like four outstanding payday loans all of which are now in collections because I couldn't afford to pay them off or renew them I owe about 1,000.00 just in payday loans. I want to start making payments on them but they want me to pay them off in full that is not fair and there is no way I can do it. Most of the debt consolodation places say they can't help me because this is considered a secured debt. I don't know what to do and I was just starting over with my credit I filed bankruptcy and it was discharged all ready and then I just went and messed it up again is there any way you can give me some advice or someone to contact that can help me?
Thanks,

Hi ARWIN22

Welcome to the forums. You earlier filed for bankruptcy to erase the payday loans debt and hoping that you should have understood the bad effects of these risky cash available, I feel that you have again made the same mistake by taking such loans.

Anyway, since your loans are in collections, you can take a free counseling in this website. I hope that the consultant will be able to offer you some useful ways to tackle your debt collectors.

Also, I want to clear it that payday loan is not a secured debt. It is not attached to any sort of property hence it is completely unsecured debt.

The debt consolidation programs works on the unsecured debts only and since your debt is in collections, you should enter for a free counseling in this website. I hope much of your worries will get solved.

You can enter your contact details at the sign up page to get in touch with the consultant. He will also offer you some budgeting tips that will help you to keep a check on your finance.
