I have been getting constant calls and emails from ameriloan. I have sent them a letter asking them to mark my account PIF before I report them to the attorney generals office and they act as though I have not sent anything. I have sent it via USM and email. I don't know what else to do. I am tired of there harassment.

Before I answer your question, let me say again, that it depends on the day of the week and the mood of the person who is handling your request. I settled with ameriloan painlessly. I filed with the BBB, they sent my complaint, they came back with an offer of the $30 I still owed them, I sent it and that was the end of it. However, I got nowhere with their "sister" pain, USFastCash and we are now at a standstill. I complained to the BBB, they felt they made me a "honest" offer, I refused it and I haven't heard from them since. Filed complaints on PayDayMax and MyCashNow in Canada and the BBB has gotten no response from them. PayDayMax phoned me once, via CPD, I faxed over my C and D letter to them and they haven't called since either. Refiled on both of them in New Jersey and Tennesee and am awaiting a response from the BBB. Star Advance seems to have fallen off the planet as I haven't heard from them either. I've stopped giving them any thought and will continue to do so until, or if, I hear from them again. As for the AG's office, they are about as helpful as a screen door in a submarine. I just keep on sending info to them but I've yet to get anything concrete from them. Just the standard thank you for your concern, we'll file your info for future reference. Have a nice day. As I always say, if you want something done right, do it yourself. . . .and so I just keep on bugging the crap out of these royal pains. Chin up. Someday this will be a distant memory!

I have just received my "final" response from the complaint I filed with the BBB regarding ameriloan. Basically they responded with false information including the statement that they had followed all of the rules (maybe they did because I am sure they make up the rules as they go). The BBB stated they could understand my frustration but apparently they could not help me. Where do I go from here? I would try filing with my AG but I am waiting on them regarding another complaint and want to see what they will do with this complaint before I file a compliant against Ameriloan.

I haven't file a complaint with the AG yet. I told them that was going to file but they still call and send these crazy emails. So I think I will file with the AG office. I think they are still working on my complaint with Starlight Financial. Haven't heard anything back from them. I haven't heard anything from Star Advance either.

kash. . Star Advance is in Costa Rico and they also have a Republic of Panama address, as well as one in Florida. I have heard ABSOLUTELY nothing from them since I closed my account and sent my C and D letter. I email them the same letter over and over again. It is neither refused nor responded to. I did file with the Florida BBB but have heard nothing on that either. Personally, with all the addresses, phone numbers and names I don't know how they keep on top of anything. I think they should just close up shop and cut their loses. . . . .NOW.

A couple of you haven't filed with your state AG yet. Do it now. It doesn't matter if they're working on "one" now. Don't wait. File with your state AG. Hell, I filed against 12 pdls with my state AG all at the same time. It doesn't matter if you've filed 1 or 20. Please file with the state AG. They really did a lot for me.

I haven't filed on all of them yet but I will do that. Because eventually they will be harassing me. I live in Arkansas and looks like our AG is trying to cut down on the payday lending. I got a call from the Loan Shop today. I'm sick of all these illegal payday loans calling.
