Frog, I would just keep adding up the fdcpa vilations from NCO. Eventually you'll be able to pay off all your bills, not just the one they claim you owe, with the reward money you get after suing them.
People can, and do, win FDCPA violation cases every day against crooked CA's. And they don't get "reamed" by them either and lose. And a CA's assets can have liens put against them just as easily as a debtor that was sued by a CA.

By the way, what they are trying to collect is overdraft fees incurred when a Collection Agency tried to debit money without authorization from my checking account. They never validated the debt either when requested. NCO is listed on Budd Hibbs Site as "Americas worst."

I have been dealing with NCO for a while as well. I sent them a cease and desist letter as well as a validation request certified,Jan. 8th which they received. Since that letter I have gotten 12 calls and 2 additional letters offering me a tax time discount.On Feb 26th I sent them a letter certified basiclly saying you have ignored my letter dated 1/8 for validation and cease and disist, listing all the dates and calls and letters after my letter, and that is clear violations of the FDCPA.I told them if they ignore this request as well as my first request I will consider filing a law suit against them as their violations are numerous. Three days after my second letter which they received, I get another call "attempting to collect a debt, and to contact Aaron Millian, never do they give they name NCO, always just Aaron Millian. I think at this point I will contact an attorney. I have all call dates and times documented as well as all certified reciepts, and corrispondance.
