The most notorious and the most willing to work things out?

Like everyone else here, I am slowly working my way out of the payday loan trap. I managed to pay off 4 storefronts and am currently on EPP with 2 others. I am confident I will soon be done with the storefronts, but I still need to tackle my internet PDLs.
Now, I have seen some topics about people being horribly harassed by certain companies, such as MTE Financial and ameriloan, etc. Now,at least 2 of my PDL loans is through MTE ( instantcashloantillpayday.com and 500fastcash, which I believe has been proved to be part of the MTE family ). And while I have way overpaid on the former of the loans, I am still afraid to close my account and deal with their harassment. I am most scared about them calling my work non-stop- I can't afford to be fired because some insane PDL company is making "personal calls" to me hours on end day after day.
So I'm considering that maybe, with PDL companies like this, I am better off paying them off first, and then closing my account on the other companies and coming to some sort of terms with them.
So my question is- would it be beneficial to have a list of internet PDL companies organized based on personal experiences as to which ones are extremely nasty and vindictive, and which ones are easier to work with and will work out payment plans with you and not call you and your work and your relatives and hound you? I don't want a list like this by any means so I know "who to take a loan from next time" because, by all means, we don't want to be taking anymore loans from ANY of these companies again- but I am just trying to weigh my options here and whether it would be better to pay off nasty companies like MTE first and then close down my account and start working on settlements with the others.
I'd really like to see a list and hear other people's experiences with these companies. Thanks!

Having such a list is certainly a good idea but I'm sure that it'll give the compiler a hard time, specially sorting the good among them....
The problem is that everyone's experience is different with each
The problem is that everyone's experience is different with each company. You'll see some say that they had good luck with, say, ameriloan - and others will say they had a hard time with them. Of course, there are several companies that are horrible to work with, and everyone who deals with them experiences the issues we discuss here. But I think listing a so-called "good" PDL might smack of encouraging people reading the list to take out another loan with the "good" PDL companies on the list - which is something we defintitely don't want to do.
just a thought.....maybe you could log onto the pdl websites and
just a thought.....maybe you could log onto the pdl websites and change your contact information so that the number they have listed for your work was incorrect? not that I am trying to promote anyone being dishonest, but a lot of us know how these companies will call all day without mercy.
Good thought but I wouldn't quite call it "dishonest". I would

I've certainly considered changing the phone number on my accoun
I've certainly considered changing the phone number on my account with them, but I feel as long as they have my old signed documents, they can look up the number I originally put if and when they figure out the new one is a "fake".
Plus, it doesn't help that I work for a large, well-known cas-i-no resort. All they have to do is look up the main page on the website for the cas-i-no- and voila, instant phone numbers. Given the fact that some of these lousy companies apparently have nothing better to do than surf the web anyway, which we have seen by some of them coming to these forums and trolling...
*edit..sorry, didn't realize that ca-si-no was considered spam on this forum via filters...
