I've tried to read through as many of these posts as possible, but my head is spinning right now. I made poor judgement and got a payday loan a while back because things were tight with just welcoming out new son into the family. I got a $500 PDL, and now can't get ahead because of it. Is there anything I can do to help get rid of it or am I stuck paying for another 3 months? Listed below is the info you asked to have posted, if anyoen can let me know if I'm SOL or not that would be great.

Loan Company - Nationwide Cash (Internet site)

Original Amount - $500

To date I have paid Exactly $1250.00 with another $112.50 scheduled to come out on 3/31

I live in New York

You are DONE. You owe nothing. Payday loans are illegal in new york. You are only morally obligated to repay the principle borrowed, which I see you have done. Actually you are due a rather large refund. Please close your account asap so that no more money will be debited, open a new account but do mnot give that number out. I am also from NY.I had 7 loans and now have none.I will post something for you to read prior to closing your account. When your account is "safe" i will give you a letter to send to these people.

Thank you for the info. I will probably have to wait until after the next payday, then get the ball rolling, just because I have a mortgage payment and 3 or 4 bill payments scheduled for automatic withdrawl as well. I'd much rather "donate" another $100+ to a PDL then have issues with my mortgage and others.

Thank you again for the help.
