Here is my problem. I don't know who
ASAP Funding is but it is the same
collection agency as SJM. The name is

Do you have an address for these people? How did you find out that they are collecting? If you have an address for them, you need to send out a debt validation letter to them as soon as you can. Do you have an address for them?

Yes they sent me the standard collection letter where I have 30 days to verify if the debt is mine. Do I go into the fact that the PDL is illegal or do I just send a validation letter. If so, can you PM me a sample letter.

And, also, how does no nonsense collector know if this person hasn't already paid over and above the amount owed, which is probably the case! I can't help but laugh!
